"This will confirm that Richard Johnson is currently in charge of the pool maintenance in our new 'Eleven' building at Mount Maunganui, a $120m twin tower development finished in December last year. 'Eleven' has a private pool on the top of each tower, and a large communal pool together with a toddler's pool on the roof of the podium of the building. All pools are heated.
Richard looks after these pools on a weekly basis. He has shown good technical knowledge in sorting out "teething troubles", and has been conscientious and proactive throughout.

When we took over the ownership of our business in August 2009, one of our first goals was to improve the standard of water in our onsite dive pool. Before meeting Richard we were advised that this could only be achieved by dumping mega amounts of chemicals in it. Sure the water would be clean, but the flipside was the bleaching of expensive dive equipment, not to mention the discomfort of itchy, stinging skin and eyes!
When we first met Richard, one of the first things that struck me was his passion for 'getting it right' without using unncessary degenerative chemicals.
Recently, while away on a dive trip, one of our pool pumps failed. A phone call to Richard was all it took - he arranged everything from the electrician to the replacement pump. We returned from the trip with a fully functioning system without all the stress.
